Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT) presents Euan Morton in concert on Monday, August 15 at 7:30PM at the Pickard Theatre. The multi-award winning and Tony nominated actor and singer has been called "sensational" by the New York Times. This is Morton's third concert at MSMT. He's become a fast favorite with MSMT audiences.

Morton, a native of Scotland, is most known for his roles on London's West End and on Broadway. His starring role in the musical Taboo gained him nominations for both Lawrence Olivier and Tony Awards. Over the years Morton has performed concerts in front of sold-out crowds all over New York City and beyond. He's also famous for his Scottish wit.
Morton has released two solo albums, his most recent in May of this year. Caledonia - The Homecoming features ten well-known Scottish folk tunes including: "My Love's Like a Red, Red Rose," "Loch Lomand," "Danny Boy," and "Auld Lang Syne." Morton's sweet tenor voice will have you swooning in your seat as he performs Broadway songs, pop-hits, and selections from his new album.

MSMT's concert presentation of Euan Morton is sponsored by Criterium Engineers. MSMT's entire 2011 season is sponsored by The Highlands and Highland Green.
